Behavior Details
This Behavior opens an image in aligned to the screen pop-up window (with only title bar - no menu bar, scroll bar, address bar, etc) which would automatically resize to the width and height of the image. If the image is larger than the screen resolution the window will resize to fill the screen and the scrollbars will be inserted automatically.

Save time designing your online galleries, especially if the dimensions of the images vary or unknown (e.g. when they are loaded dynamically from the database).
Use the behavior dialog box to define additional parameters of the new window :
- The image title which is displayed in the title bar of the new browser window.
- The position of the new window.
- Whether or not protect the image from being saved to user's hard drive.
- Whether a separate window should open each time visitor clicks on the link with the behavior applied to it, or there should be only one instance of the pop-up window.
The Linecraft Auto-Resizing Pop-up can be applied to either text or image link. This should 'javascript:;' link as in
<a href="javascript:;">link</a>.
To use the the Linecraft Auto-Resizing Pop-up:
- Select the text or the image link in the body of your HTML document.
- Click the "+" button in the Behaviors palette and select Linecraft Auto-Resizing Pop-up behavior
- In the "Page Title" field enter the title for the image.
- Click "Browse" button and locate your image.
- Select "Auto-close" if you want the new window to close automatically as soon as it looses the focus, for example when the user returns to the main window. If you leave this option unchecked each image will open in an individual window.
- newSelect "Copyright Protect" if you want to prevent users from saving the image to hard drive*.
- Select the screen position for the new window by clicking one of the radio buttons. Your options are as follows:
- Top-Left
- Top -Center
- Top-Right
- Middle-Left
- Middle-Center
- Middle-Right
- Bottom-Left
- Bottom-Center
- Bottom-Right
The
default option is "Top-Left"
- Click OK.
Check that the default event is the one you want.
If it isn't, select another event from the pop-up menu in the Behaviors palette. If the events you want are not listed, change the target browser in the Show Events For pop-up menu.
Please note: Although you can apply the behavior directly to an image (a thumbnail for example) this might not work in every browser so it is suggested that the behavior is applied to the link tag (either text or image) rather then the image itself.
* Optionally you can apply limited Copyright Protection feature to prevent users from saving your images to hard drive.
Unfortunately there is no solid proof way to protect your image as an advanced user will still be able to save it. However this will stop majority of users from stealing your graphic assets.
This feature will disable Internet Explorer 6 Image Toolbar. It will also remove context menu with keyboard key press, and will close the image window when user tries to drag and drop the image from the window to a folder or save it using right click. This feature has been tested and worked properly in all major browsers except Opera.

- Netscape 7 and higher
- Mozilla 1.6 and higher
- Firefox 0.8 and higher

In Netscape 4.7 and Safari for Macintosh (prior to 1.3) it degrades gracefully: the image will be displayed in a maximized pop-up window.
